With the many changes the pandemic has brought to our homes and lives, Mark and I wanted to give you an update of what we are doing to follow CDC guidelines as well as our own industries suggested practices.

Along with our already meticulous cleaning schedule, we will now be ever vigilant to wipe down hard surfaces. Make sure you have lots of hand soap and a natural rinse free cleaner near the exit doorways for you to use after using the handles. We have always and will continue to wash blankets as well as all bedding or any material that you come in contact with.

Communal dining is no longer an option until social distancing is no longer in affect . Our breakfasts have not changed and will remain up to our highest standards. We will wear masks while cooking, plating, and delivering your food to you. You may choose to eat breakfast in bed, dine at the dining room table at a time of your choosing (maximum 4 guests at the table) or if the time you choose is already taken, you may choose to eat at the café table in the Billiards room, the high top table on the Veranda or on the pool deck (we will just make sure every thing is on melamine as there is no glass on the pool deck).

The Pool is open for use when the weather permits, but we do ask that you social distance from other couples who may be enjoying it as well. We have moved some of the furniture around to make that possible. Please note that we will be using a fogger on all outdoor cushions to help eliminate germs. Each suite will have a supply of pool towels for your use. Please take your used towel back to your suite and put it in the laundry basket.

We ask that you social distance in the common areas in the B&B and on the Veranda as well or if that is not possible, please wear a mask.

We now have coffee makers in each suite for your use as well as all the accoutrements you will need for coffee as well as tea. If you would prefer not to use a k-cup for tea, just let me know and I will get you a carafe of hot water. There is also a mini fridge in each sitting room for your use. The shared pantry will no longer be open to guests (unless you are the only guests here, then by all means help yourselves).

The Polly Ann trail is a short drive away to parking for getting on the trail and offers miles of walking/biking/running space. We encourage you to experience it. Addison oaks is just down the road. Restaurants are opened at 1/2 capacity but most of our area restaurants have curbside carry out. We look forward to making your stay enjoyable as well as safe!

Blessings to you and your families,

Mark and Jan Smith (and Ophelia)
