When Mark and I first found this old farmhouse, we didn’t just see cracked plaster and creaky floors—we saw potential, charm, and a place where stories could unfold. With time, love, and a whole lot of elbow grease, Maple Cove Bed & Breakfast became our little haven, where guests could slow down, sip coffee on the porch, and feel the peace that comes from simple comforts and good company.
As the years passed, life here grew even sweeter—flower gardens expanded, pastures filled with a few too many lovable animals, and we felt a pull to offer something more private and more personal. That dream became The August House, a completely private two-bedroom retreat designed for quiet escapes, meaningful celebrations, and romantic beginnings. Never shared with other guests, it’s ideal for honeymooners, couples, or best friends who want comfort, space, and privacy all to themselves.
