An Important Message About Our B&B…
When we updated and refurbished the house, we focused on what would be the most relaxing and quiet setting for our guests. It was a hard decision but we decided to cater to guests over 21 years of age. Our mission is to provide a quiet, peaceful setting for young parents, couples, partners, friends or simply singles, to recharge, refresh and rekindle. Our suites are set up as a master bedroom with king bed, private sitting room and private bathroom. We mean no offense to parents who like to travel with children ( we have 4 of our own and 9 and counting grandchildren). We encourage you to think of us when you are looking for quiet time away. Additionally we are unable to accommodate pets at this time. We appreciate your understanding.

The Hemingway Suite
The Hemingway suite, thus named as I can picture Ernest writing some of his lighter poetry in the sitting room, is located on the second level in the north wing of the house. It includes a spacious sitting room and private bathroom. The corner tub in the bathroom is the original tub that was maintained (really really well in case you were wondering) to make this a unique feature of that room.

The Casablanca Suite
The Casablanca Suite, located on the first level of the B&B, has a private entrance off the veranda should you choose to use it. It includes a beautiful and spacious sitting room, a private bathroom with a 2-person soaker tub and spacious shower. The Casablanca is a little bit “here’s lookin’ at you”, but with today’s comfort and style of a modern farmhouse.

The Hepburn Suite
Inspired by our favorite actress (Katharine) this suite is located on the second level in the south wing of the house. It is sunny and warm. It includes a sitting room with a wall of windows and a private bathroom. A sliding barn door at the top of the stairs will close you off into your own little domain.
The Hepburn suite offers a spacious master bedroom with king bed that leads into the sitting room which features a bank of windows offering light and a view.

The August House
For those looking for a more private setting and longer stay, this is the place for you. Steps away from the B&B, this 2- bedroom house hosts a laundry room, full kitchen, study, large master bathroom with a 2-person soaking tub, 1/2 bath, living room with a 3-side fireplace, and plenty of character. This was the caretakers house on the property that we have fully updated and renovated to keep with our” a little bit country and a lot of class” motto. The August house is now part of Michigan Bed and Breakfast association. Because of its new status, we provide a continental breakfast. You can also upgrade to a full breakfast.
Guests are invited to use the pool in the summer as well as explore the grounds while they are with us.
The August house pricing is based on usage of bedrooms. Additional charge for second bedroom. Max occupancy of 4. Minimum 2 nights or more please.

Amenities
All of the suites have a king size bed, wifi access and TV’s. Each of our suites have a coffee station and mini fridge. In the summer you are free to enjoy the veranda, the many sitting areas around the property and the pool. The grounds are yours to enjoy year round. We have 14 acres of tamed and untamed land.
B&B Environment
Although we are pet people, we are unable to accommodate yours so please no pets.
When deliberating on the environment we wished to create, we decided on a quiet get away for adults 21 and older only.
